DOOR CANcer, Inc. is a community-based charitable organization dedicated to assisting Door County residents facing financial challenges during cancer treatment.

The organization aims to ease the burden on families living with cancer by providing financial support for everyday expenses. While DOOR CANcer Inc. does not cover medical bills or prescription medications, it offers assistance with rent or mortgage payments, insurance premiums, transportation and lodging related to treatment, utility bills, food for families, and other non-medical costs.

100% of ticket sales go directly to DOOR CANcer Inc as they hope to alleviate suffering through monetary aid for families battling the financial drain of a cancer diagnosis.

Dorothy Scott has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Carole King, Joan Osborne, Jeff Buckley, Sinéad O’Connor, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Frames, and the Siegel-Schwall Band.

The Peacekeepers, featuring Tony Bessen on electric guitar and vocals, Paul Sowinski on bass, and Adam Cain on drums, provide a dynamic backdrop to Scott’s powerful voice, complemented by her acoustic guitar. Importantly, the concert is designed to highlight each artist’s talent, ensuring that they shine alongside Scott. All musicians involved have national touring experience, with music featured in films and their own albums.
